Catalog description

This interdisciplinary course explores behavior through molecular, physiological, and neurobiological lenses. The course begins with a study of hormone receptor biology and the experimental methods used to investigate hormone signaling and transduction. It then expands to neuroendocrinology, using a comparative framework to examine how hormones both influence and are influenced by behavior, including their roles in development, reproduction, parental care, aggression, and homeostasis.
