Catalog description

PWR 2 courses focus on developing strategies for presenting research-based arguments in both written and oral/multimedia genres. Archives provide endless opportunities to discover images, texts, music, films, and objects that remain largely out of sight and this class will encourage both methodical and serendipitous discovery. We will consider gatekeeping and preservation and discuss how archives can reinforce dominant narratives or challenge them. For a full course description see pwrcourses.stanford.edu/pwr2/pwr2nca. For all PWR courses see https://pwrcourses.stanford.edu/ Enrollment is handled by the PWR office. Prerequisite: PWR 1.
