Writing & Rhetoric 2: California Dreaming: The Golden State's Rhetorical Appeals

PWR 2 courses focus on developing strategies for presenting research-based arguments in both written and oral/multimedia genres. In this class, we will consider the stories immigrants, artists, journalists, ad men, and scientists have told about the land we now call California--analyzing the ways their rhetoric shapes our understanding of the state and its residents.
