Catalog description

PWR 1 courses focus on developing writing and revision strategies for rhetorical analysis and research-based arguments that draw on multiple sources. This course takes as it theme the enduring power of writing to change the world. We will consider how national discussions about racism are rhetorically constructed, exploring how language can be leveraged to support or challenge oppressive racial frameworks.
