Stanford University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
PWR 1 courses focus on developing writing and revision strategies for rhetorical analysis and research-based arguments that draw on multiple sources. In this class, we will explore the ways that people write and speak about childhood, and how these rhetorics of childhood shape our world. We will ask, how does the way we talk about children--and about childhood--influence our lives? Our politics? Our world? A full course description and video can be found here: https://pwrcourses.stanford.edu/pwr1/pwr1nk. For the PWR course catalog please visit https://pwrcourses.stanford.edu/.
