This course will study analytic philosophy's turn away from logical positivism and foundationalist empiricism in the 50s and 60s. Readings from Wittgenstein, Anscombe, Sellars, Quine, Davidson, Austin, Strawson and Kuhn. Pre-requisite: at least one philosophy class.
