Second-Year Modern Persian, First Quarter

Catalog description

Continuation of PERSLANG 3. Expands students' proficiency in Persian language and culture at the intermediate level through various texts and multimedia. It stresses oral fluency, written expression, and reading comprehension. Students will continue to learn the language, emphasizing communicative and interactive classroom activities. Students will be introduced to contemporary and classical short poems by famous Persian poets like Rumi. Prerequisite: Placement Test, PERSLANG 3 or PERSLANG 2A.
