Pediatric medicine is unique in that it encompasses a wide range of medical visits including well child checks, acute care visits, and chronic disease management. Students are encouraged to practice modified interviewing skills to effectively communicate and educate young patients and their families. These concepts will be reinforced during a four-week outpatient clinical experience. The PAEA Pediatrics End of Rotation Exam is a required component of PAS 311 and will be held on the last Thursday of the rotation. This course is offered to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program only.
