Pathophysiology and Clinical Medicine I ( PAS 232) is the first of a four-quarter series that presents organ system-based physiology, pathology, and clinical management of diseases of the pulmonary and cardiovascular systems. Each organ-specific block will review basic anatomy and related histology, normal function of that organ system, how the organ system is affected in response to disease, and how diseases of the organ system are treated. In PAS 232, the focus is on the structure, function, disease, and corresponding therapeutics of pulmonology and cardiology.This course is offered to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program only.
