Catalog description

This course will expose students to beginner mountain biking skills. Topics covered in this course include balance and body position, shifting, braking, climbing and descending, cornering, navigating obstacles, trail-side repair, basic maintenance, trail etiquette, and safety. Upon completion of this class, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to pick local trails and undertake personal mountain biking outings.
