Catalog description

Social entrepreneurship requires visionary individuals to think out of the box and create new business opportunities for mission-driven ventures. Combining innovative mindset with the application of entrepreneurial principles, mission-driven ventures could bring social, environmental as well as economic benefits to the society. This course will teach knowledge and tools to help students understand the core concepts and practical knowledge on social innovation and social entrepreneurship, which enable them to apply this knowledge to address pressing social issues, capture potential opportunities and leverage the eco-system to make the project or venture sustainable.
