Catalog description

Sustainability issues are increasingly addressed in the planning and development of urban transport. Our understanding of sustainable development has changed the ways we handle passenger and freight transport. This course will introduce urban transportation issues from the social, economic, and environmental perspectives. Transport policies, programs, and tools for sustainable communities will be introduced. While sustainable mobility and freight movement will be discussed in the course, the focus will be on issues related to personal mobility and accessibility. Also enroll in CUHK course#URSP3300. Enrollment limited.
