This course gives you the freedom to explore Florence on your own terms, while benefiting from a curated list of resources and recommendations provided by the Program. Through a unique blend of academic experiences and hands-on exploration, you will unravel the layers of Florence and gain a deeper understanding of the city's cultural significance and rich heritage. This is your opportunity to embark on a guided self-discovery that allows you to take ownership of your own learning journey and develop the skills that will enable you to independently manage time and resources. You will engage with the community - the Florentines, their traditions, and landmarks - as you savor culinary delights, marvel at artistic masterpieces, and interact with the local academic culture. You will create memories that last a lifetime while mastering the city that will become your "home" for a quarter.
