VISITING: Open to visitors. TYPE OF CLERKSHIP: Elective. DESCRIPTION: The 398A clinical clerkship is best described as a preceptorship. The student spends 4 weeks with a single physician. The preceptor can work Byers Eye Institute Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, or *PAVMC (*available to Stanford students). 398A can be an excellent rotation to form a more substantive relationship with a mentor. PREREQUISITES: Students must contact faculty members directly to arrange their preceptorship. After a student identifies their preceptor, email Brooke Byron ([email protected]) and Dr. Eubee Koo ([email protected]) with the preceptor ccd. In the email, please note the period that the rotation will occur. Students may contact Brooke Byron ([email protected]) for guidance on how to identify potential preceptors. PERIODS AVAILABLE: 1-12, full time for 4 weeks, 3 students per period. CLERKSHIP DIRECTOR: Eubee Koo, M.D., [email protected]. CLERKSHIP COORDINATOR: Brooke Byron, [email protected].
