The vocal pedagogy course surveys the various components of the singing voice; breathing, phonation and resonation. It will help you acquire the tools for science-based teaching and understanding of your own instrument if you are a singer. Singer? Teacher? Choral conductor? Collaborative pianist? This course is for you. Learn in depth how this amazing instrument - the human voice - works, and how to teach, use and maintain it. Learn the facts about vocal technique, how to navigate the different types of voices, listening and tailoring your teaching to the individual singer; and know the best practices of vocal health.
