This is the non-credit version of MUSIC 73 and cannot be taken independently. Students must audition for and be accepted into MUSIC 73 in order to enroll. The application process is the same: register for the waitlist, attend the first class, and submit a performance-ready video audition with your name, grade, and section to [email protected]. The piece must include accompaniment, as a cappella submissions will not be accepted. A questionnaire will also be required before the first class. The audition consists of both a video submission and an in-person audition during the first week, with details provided at that time. As with MUSIC 73, enrollment is based on audition performance, not waitlist position, though being on the waitlist is required. Permission numbers will be given to accepted students by the end of the first week. Each section is limited to four students, and the course may be repeated up to three times for credit. Prerequisite: MUSIC 65B or 65BZ, or equivalent vocal training.
