Voice Class II

Catalog description

Builds on the foundation of vocal technique and introduces performance practice. Enrollment is by audition only. To apply, students must submit an audio recording of one accompanied song (with piano or track) to [email protected], along with their name, grade, and section preference. A questionnaire will be provided and must be completed before the first week of classes. Students must register for the waitlist and attend the first class to be considered. Admission is based on audition results, not waitlist position, though being on the waitlist is required. Accepted students will receive permission numbers by the end of the first week. Each section is limited to five students. The course may be repeated up to three times for credit. Prerequisite: MUSIC 65A/AZ or equivalent vocal training.
