Particularly in high-growth sectors like technology, entrepreneurs can significantly impact social, political, and economic aspects of life, revolutionizing communication, information dissemination, travel, and more. The growing importance of entrepreneurship is occurring alongside escalating racial, gender, and economic disparities, hindering fair competition for entrepreneurs of color, women, and people in resource-scarce areas. This course dives into entrepreneurship processes, including idea formation, pitching, and fundraising, with a keen eye to the disparities that exist and brainstorm remedies to these barriers.
