Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce the student to the use of evidence in a legal cause of action, the various types of evidence, the paralegal’s role in gathering and organizing that evidence, and effective use in alternative dispute resolution or trial. Students will also be taught the importance of the preservation of evidence and chain of custody. The student will be versed in the Federal and Florida Rules of Evidence.<br><br>Admission to Paralegal Studies (Bachelor of Applied Science) (LEGAL-BAS) and Prerequisite PLA 2114 with a minimum grade of C
