Catalog description
This course is the study of theory of electricity and magnetism, nature of light, electromagnetic radiation, optics, and selected topics in modern physics. Calculus will be used in problem solving. This course is intended for physics majors and engineering students.<br><br>Prerequisite PHY 2048 with a minimum grade of C and Prerequisite PHY 1048L with a minimum grade of C and Prerequisite MAC 2312 with a minimum grade of C and Pre- or Co-requisite PHY 1049L with a minimum grade of C
