Catalog description
This course is designed as a continuation of Music Theory II, with emphasis on expansion of the harmonic vocabulary. The student will learn how color is added to compositions with chromatic resources ranging from modulation to extended chords, modal mixture, and altered chords. Musical form and interpretation are also considered.<br><br>(Prerequisite MUT 1112 or Permission of the Program) and Pre- or Co-requisite MUT 2246
