This course is designed as a continuation of Music Theory I, with emphasis on harmonization, voice-leading, and figured bass. Compositional techniques for expanding melodic and harmonic frameworks are investigated through the exploration of phrases, cadences, and applied chords.<br><br>(Prerequisite MUT 1111 or Permission of the Program) and Pre- or Co-requisite MUT 1242
