Catalog description

This course intends to build on introductory project management skills to form a solid grounding in the nine project management knowledge areas. This industry independent learning within the project arena includes the following topics: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, closing, integration management, scope management, schedule management, cost management, quality management, resource management, communications management, risk management, procurement management and stakeholder management. Cost, scope, schedule, quality, and procurement receive special emphasis in this course. Students will align the topics to strive for the attainment of project objectives within the agreed limits of resources.
