<p>This course emphasizes the study and appreciation of the literary and human significance of selected works of world literature from the Classical Period to the Contemporary Period. It is designed to introduce students to the exploration of literary texts while strengthening skills in critical thinking and writing through comparative and interdisciplinary approaches. Students will examine these works within their historical contexts, engaging with enduring human values and conflicts that appear across various literary traditions. Through interpretation, discussion, and discovery, students will gain deeper insight into the shared and differing aspects of the human experience.
