Emerging Security Technologies

Catalog description
This course examines the security risks associated with emerging technologies. Using case studies and a seminar format, students will analyze emerging technologies and learn how to identify vulnerabilities and security risks that emerging technologies could introduce into an organization. Students will also explore strategies for evaluating security risk, responding to and for mitigating risk in the context of emerging technologies. Students will create a comprehensive report based on an emerging technology of their choice that will describe associated security risks and provide recommendations for safe deployment of new technology.<br><br>Admission to Cybersecurity (Bachelor of Applied Science) (CYSEC-BAS)
