<p>THIS COURSE IS FOR HONORS PROGRAM STUDENTS AND SHOULD BE TAKEN DURING THE FIRST 30 CREDIT HOURS OF THEIR BACCALAUREATE ACADEMIC PROGRAM. An applied exploration of current knowledge, issues, and innovation in STEAM disciplines, and their potential for problem-solving and engagement with ethical and philosophical questions. Each section of IDH 3034H addresses different aspects of scientific knowledge, advancement, innovation, application, as well as the development of necessary leadership skills to tackle these difficult issues. The list of major topics will vary from section to section. However, they will generally align with the following broad list of topics: scientific method and innovation, creative research design, critical observation, and inference application of scientific knowledge. This course requires 12 service/civic engagement hours.</p><br><br>Permission of the Program: Restricted to students in the Honors program
