Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the student the application knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for effective participation in the planning, design, management and use of clinical information systems. The course is focused on providing students with the expertise to conceptualize and strategically plan and build the appropriate health information infrastructure for supporting the knowledge requirements of the healthcare organization.<br><br>Prerequisite HSA 4191 with a minimum grade of C and Admission to Health Services Administration (Bachelor of Applied Science) (HSA-BAS)
