This course is an introduction to the use of the International Classification of Diseases, Procedural Coding System (ICD-PCS). This coding system is used by hospitals for coding inpatient procedures.<br><br>(Admission to Health Information Technology (Associate in Science) (HIT-AS) or Admission to Medical Coding and Revenue Management (Certificate with Financial Aid Eligibility) (MEDCD-CT)) and (Prerequisite HIM 2722 with a minimum grade of C or Prerequisite HIM 2229 with a minimum grade of C)
