This course is an introduction to the basic coding principals, characteristics and conventions of coding using the Physicians Current Procedure Terminology (CPT) coding nomenclature.<br><br>(Admission to Health Information Technology (Associate in Science) (HIT-AS) or Admission to Medical Coding and Revenue Management (Certificate with Financial Aid Eligibility) (MEDCD-CT)) and (Pre- or Co-requisite HIM 1430 with a minimum grade of C or Pre- or Co-requisite HIM 1140 with a minimum grade of C)
