<p>This course provides a theory of operation of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) motors. Major topics include motor components, forces, National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) ratings, nameplate information, inverter and pulse width moderator drives, AC to DC rectifiers, and signal regeneration for 3-phase systems. Students will apply this knowledge during hands-on laboratory experiments.</p><br><br>Prerequisite EET 1035C with a minimum grade of C
