Catalog description
This is a practical course designed to assist students in determining if they have the traits and skill set to be entrepreneurs. It is designed for students who think they may want to start a business for the first time or for those already in business seeking to expand or diversify. Emphasis will be placed on the practical aspects of creating and running a business and on teaching the skills and tools for effective decision making. Topics will include: feasibility studies, SWOT analysis (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats), market research, opportunity recognition, idea and product development, team formation, resource funding, and basics for business plan development.<br><br>No Requisites Required
