Catalog description
The student will be assigned to contract agencies for patient care experience with fire-rescue and ambulance units under the direct supervision of State of Florida certified EMTs and Paramedics. The course is designed as a competency-based field component where the individual gains emergency and non-emergency insight into the mechanics of assisting the ill or injured patient in the out-of-hospital environment.<br><br>Prerequisite EMS 1119 with a minimum grade of C and Prerequisite EMS 1119L with a minimum grade of C and Prerequisite EMS 1411 with a minimum grade of C
