<p>This course is the study of child growth and development from conception to age eight. The focus is on the development of the young child. Course content will include theories of child development; the means by which young children learn; the role of adults in children&#39;s development; and issues of health, safety and nutrition.</p><br><br>Admission to Educational Studies and Community Leadership (Bachelor of Science) (EDST-BS) Early Childhood Education subplan or Admission to Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade 3) with Infused ESOL and Reading Endorsements (Bachelor of Science) (PKPED-BS)
