Catalog description

In this course students will further develop the ability to comprehend spoken English and to express themselves more accurately and fluently on a variety of social and academic topics. They develop speaking and listening skills necessary for participating in classroom discussions with an emphasis on clarification through rewording and asking questions. Emphasis is on active listening for discrete points and main ideas and summarizing.
