Catalog description

This is the second of three courses designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience to achieve professional certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Students will apply the fundamentals of switching and routing. Instruction includes virtual local area networks (VLANs), VLAN trunking, inter-VLAN routing, spanning tree protocol (STP) and Etherchannel, first hop redundancy protocols (FHRPs), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), wireless LAN (WLAN) concepts, and static routing.<br><br>Prerequisite CET 1600 with a minimum grade of C or Prerequisite CCNA certification
