<p style="margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif">This course prepares the student through instruction and practice to compose&nbsp;written reports common to Criminal Justice, Crime Scene, Digital Forensics, Fire Science, Homeland Security, and Emergency Management communities. Note-taking and report-writing frameworks for these&nbsp;fields&nbsp;will be reviewed. Students will analyze a variety of criminal justice and emergency scenarios presented&nbsp;and produce reports on these scenarios in&nbsp;the required&nbsp;report format and presentation. Students will demonstrate the use of appropriate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and word choices in reports. Basic computer skills for communication and research in the applicable programs will be covered as well. This capstone&nbsp;course will include the&nbsp;end of program assessment, and&nbsp;should be taken towards the end of the program.</span></span></span></span></p><br><br>Prerequisite ENC 1101 with a minimum grade of C and Prerequisite Permission of the Program
