Catalog description

This course explores Catholic Social Teaching on economics and work. It pays special attention to their application and relevance for communities, ethnicities, and geographical regions in the Unites States. It also provides students a way to think of the meaning and impact of their major and future employment for themselves, their community, and society. Issues such as the dignity of work, solidarity, subsidiarity, the rights of workers, the universal destination of goods, and the common good will be treated. Prerequisite TH 1301 .
