Catalog description

This course examines the diverse forms of Judaism that emerged from about 539 BCE to 200 CE and how these forms of Judaism continue to shape the modern world, with attention to primary texts written during this period, types of religious belief and practice, and the theological questions that arose during this period. Prerequisites TH 1301 or SMC 1314 or HO 1305 .
