An examination of what it means to be male-female and masculine-feminine and the associated inequalities in US societies. Topics include sexual identity, gender stereotypes, cross-cultural differences in gender roles and socialization, and changes in these roles in contemporary society. Prerequisites SC 1311 or CR 1311.
