Catalog description

The focus of this course is on the relationship between U.S. foreign policy making and implementation and vital national and global interests. Among the perspectives examined are the roles of values, images, and institutions in shaping U.S. foreign policy. The course also considers specific U.S. policies vis-a-vis other countries and regions of the world, as well as important general international issues.(Fall Odd).
