U.S. Civil Rights: The Latino Experience.

This course designed to examine and assess the Civil Rights Movement as it relates to the Latino experience, specifically Mexican Americans, in the United States. Special emphasis will be given to the experiences of Mexican Americans within the legal system. Some of the policy areas may include educational rights, voting rights, language rights, as well as the rights of women.(Fall).
