Catalog description

The study of the development of the U.S. Supreme Court. Analysis of the American court system including the structure and the decision-making process by the United States Supreme Court, and the politics surrounding judicial appointments. Some areas of case law covered include, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, gender discrimination, affirmative action, as well as the rights of criminal defendants under the 4th and 5th Amendments.(Fall Even).
