Examines the relationship between human beings and the rest of the natural world. We will attend to a variety of views regarding our place within (and our obligations to) the natural environment. Possible topics of discussion include rewilding conservation, the value of endangered species, environmental aesthetics, wildness vs. wilderness, sustainable development, and forms of environmental activism.
