Addresses philosophical reflections about film and/or philosophical themes within film from a variety of philosophical perspectives. Topics may include the nature of film, the difference between film and other artforms, the aesthetic and moral evaluation of movies, and cinema’s contributions to philosophical debates about metaphysics, epistemology, political philosophy, ethics, and aesthetics.
