Catalog description

The first of a 2-course series. Prior to writing a Master’s thesis, students are required to develop and defend a review of the pertinent literature, and an explanation and defense of the proposed methodology. The thesis proposal will be orally defended before the Thesis Committee comprised of three faculty. The Thesis supervisor and committee must be determined in the semester before the course begins. Upon successful completion of IR 6398 , the student will then register for IR 6399 Thesis. Pre-Requisites: Grade of A- in IR 6320 Research and Writing in International Relations; 3.8 Program GPA.
