Humanities & Social Sciences Internship.

Catalog description

A hands-on approach to Humanities and Social Science major topics through work in a business, government agency, or not-for-profit organization. Cooperation between the workplace and the university is required. Topics vary depending on the needs of the sponsoring company, agency, or organization and on the academic needs of the student & the degree program. Credit hours may be completed in increments of 1, 2, or 3 credit hours per semester or summer session but not to exceed the number allowed by the major or by the electives guidelines. This course can be considered for substitution for other specific internship requirements. Prerequisite: Consent of the academic adviser & HSS Dean.
