Catalog description

This undergraduate history course will engage students in researching and preserving community stories using oral history methods. In this course, students will develop research skills in completing oral histories, gathering primary sources to support their research, and learning about ethical community-based research in public history. This research methods class seeks to train students in skills while guiding them through their first oral history projects.
