Catalog description

The First Year Seminar welcomes St. Mary's University students to a Marianist liberal arts education through activities designed to inspire multidisciplinary intellectual development. The first-year experience will encourage students to value diverse perspectives and foster student development as curious, self-motivated, and independent life-long learners. Through this experience, students will explore academic skills and resources that will enrich their engagement in the St. Mary's community and beyond.
