Environmental Science Internship.

Catalog description
This course allows students to complete a capstone experience through the participation in an internship in an organization or corporation that performs work in an environmental field, or working on an environmental/sustainability project in the university. Students will create a culminating presentation and share their experience through a conference presentation, a campus research presentation symposium or other venue. For students participating in an external internship, they may count a presentation given as part of their intern experience. Students will also write a report on their work or a reflection on the internship experience, detailing what they learned and how this experience helped them to advance their career path in the environmental sciences. To enroll in this course, the student must contact the Chair of the Department of Environmental Science and Sustainability and complete the necessary paper work. Pre-requisites: Student must have completed Fall semester of their Junior Year and have taken ES 2345 , ES 3110 , ES 3120 , ES 3310 . (Fall, Spring Summer). This is a writing intensive course.
