Study of selected topics exploring contemporary issues and specialized technical applications in a chosen area of mechanical engineering systems and design. The course requires a subtitle to be added to the title depending on the chosen area. Focus is on application of mechanical engineering principles in the context of analysis and design. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification; approval of instructor depending on the chosen subtitle.
